Dear Anon,
Oh this looks like a fun game! So let’s see…
Nick is a friend of mine.
Detective Gumshoe makes instant noodles,
and Edgeworth won the king of prosecutors trophy.

This is the best reaction to this I have ever seen.
Transfering this to a new post, since I feel it’s better suited here than as a reply on a Fanart.
Can I be absolutely honest and say that Maya Fans complaining that Maya is not Nick’s assistant anymore in GS5 is something that annoys me a bit?
Maya was in three games, the movie (though she wasn’t well used there, I admit) and is gonna play a main role in Layton VS Ace Attorney, plus she will get fully animated, voiced cut scenes there. Maya is one of my favorite characters all time in the series (if not *the* favorite) and I am glad she got all the attention she got.
Thing is, by the end of T&T, there was supposed to be a significant shift in her character. It was supposed to mark the point where she grows up, stops dodging responsibility or beeing afraid of what happens if she fails and takes over leading Kurain into a brighter future as the Master. This needs time, dedication and, most importantly, requires her to refrain from regular 3-4 days stays in the City to solve some murder mystery. A big point in several cases was that Maya’s extended stays in L.A. actually caused her to neglect her training, which greatly weakened her powers. Maya’s ability to call Mia was strongest in JfA, when she had just returned from an extended stay in Kurain.
Dear Anonymous,
I would never let something like that happen!
I’m going to fix Kurain so there’s no more killing, no more hard feelings, and no more stupid old rules that tie our village to the stone age!
Not like I’m going to get married and start having kids today or anything, but… I guess I’ll have to some day, huh?
(Nngh… I just want to hang out with Nick and solve crime. Is that too much to ask?)

HAVE YOU ANY IDEA HOW MANY FEELS THE LAST SENTENCE GIVES ME?!

Dear Anonymous,
Of course!
I really need a better second player, though. Nick spazzes out in games more than he does in court.
